The City of Hart / Hart Energy Department is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide directional drilling (boring) services on an as-needed basis for a three-year term beginning December 1, 2025, through November 30, 2028. Contractor shall provide time and material pricing for the following directional bores using HDPE pipe supplied by the City: Bore Description 1 - 2" HDPE Bore 0'-50' 1 - 2" HDPE Bore 51'-200' 1 - 2" HDPE Bore 201'+ 1 - 2" & 3" HDPE Bore 0'-50' 1 - 2" & 3" HDPE Bore 51'-200' 1 - 2" & 3" HDPE Bore 201'+ 3 - 2" HDPE Bore 0'-50' 3 - 2" HDPE Bore 51'-200' 3 - 2" HDPE Bore 201'+ 1 - 3" HDPE Bore 0'-50' 1 - 3" HDPE Bore 51'-200' 1 - 3" HDPE Bore 201'+ City of Hart / Hart Energy will provide HDPE pipe materials. Contractors must provide proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. All work must comply with OSHA/MIOSHA standards. Contractors must provide qualified operators and equipment suitable for directional boring within developed areas. The City reserves the right to request emergency or priority service when necessary. Proposals will be reviewed by the Hart Energy Department, with recommendations submitted to the Hart City Council for final approval. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award in the best interest of the City.
