Replacement Work to be in accordance with Section 07 52 00. 1 On Roof Areas 101, 201 & 301: Remove existing projection and perimeter flashings, roof membrane, insulation, vapour retarder and old appurtenances down to existing metal deck, and dispose of to an appropriate site. 1 Clean dust and debris from flutes of existing roof deck with broom or vacuum. 2 Examine and review surface of exposed metal deck for corrosion and deterioration that may impact roof system installation. Repair or rust paint corroded metal decking as required. Install new wood blocking and plywood at perimeters and curbs as required. 2 1 Prime all exposed wood, concrete, gypsum board, and metal surfaces where required to receive new membrane and flashings. .3 Install a flat layer of 13mm (0.5") gypsum sheathing to existing steel deck, in ribbons of polyurethane roofing adhesive to satisfy the noted wind up-lift requirements. 4 Install self-adhered modified bitumen vapour barrier flashings along perimeters, curbs, projections, and where indicated on detail drawings. 5 Install new torch-applied modified bitumen vapour retarder membrane over primed surface of the gypsum sheathing. 6 Adhere a base layer of flat 50mm polyisocyanurate insulation in ribbons of polyurethane roofing adhesive. 7 Adhere a layer of tapered 2.0% polyisocyanurate insulation, as indicated on the drawing(s), in ribbons of polyurethane roofing adhesive. .8 Adhere a layer of tapered 4.0% polyisocyanurate crickets, as indicated on the drawing(s), in ribbons of polyurethane roofing adhesive. 9 Install a continuous flat layer of 6.0mm protection board. Set boards in ribbons of polyurethane roofing adhesive. .10 Install one ply of modified bitumen base sheet field membrane, torch applied 11 Install one ply of modified bitumen base sheet flashings, torch applied. 12 Install one ply, granular modified bitumen cap sheet field membrane, torch applied. .13 Install one ply, granular modified bitumen cap sheet flashings, torch applied. 14 Install new prefinished metal flashings, hook strips, and trim at all perimeter and projection locations where indicated on drawings.
