All required traffic control and environmental protection requirements to complete the project. 3. Protection of existing watermain suspended off bridge deck. 4. Remove existing asphalt and waterproofing membrane. 5. Staged bridge deck scarification. 6. Remove existing bridge barriers and abandoned street light poles. 7. Remove existing concrete sidewalks and protect existing reinforcing steel. 8. Remove and replacement of deck drains. 9. Removal and replacement of sidewalks and asphalt on bridge approaches. 10. Removal, salvage, and reinstallation of bridge plague. 11. Staged placement of a concrete overlay. 12. New cast-in-place concrete sidewalk. 13. New concrete end blocks and steel barrier railings. 14. Waterproofing and paving the bridge deck. Contract Substantial Performance: October 17th, 2025 Final completion: October 24th, 2025 The Contractor, together with a surety company shall, unless otherwise directed, furnish to the Owner a Performance Bond and a separate Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Tender price. The bonds shall be those issued by a bonding agency licensed to operate in the Province of Ontario and in a form satisfactory to the Owner. The Tenderer shall Tender for the cost of the bonds in the item provided for that purpose in the Form of Tender on the assumption that each bond will be in the amount of 100% of the total Tender price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and to waive formalities as the interests of the Owner may require without stating reasons therefor and the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
