Site work and paving for a civil project in Hawkesbury, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of the reconstruction of a 235 metre stretch of Catherine Street between Lansdowne Street and Sinclair Street. Catherine Street reconstruction works consist of the reconstruction of approximately 235 m of local residential road, replacement of cast iron watermain, VCT and asbestos cement sanitary sewer, replacement of storm sewer, and the placement of storm sewer along remaining roadway to fully segregate the storm and sanitary sewers. To complete all work under the Contract up to base course asphalt by October 24th, 2025, at the latest, and surface course asphalt by June 15th , 2026, subject to the requirements of Section 5 of the Special Provisions - General for extension of Contract time. At the time of tendering, the Tenderer shall submit an electronic bid bond from their surety in favour of the Town of Hawkesbury, equal to 10% of the total tender price.
