The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking qualification submissions for the Cave Creek Collector Realignment & Albert Street Streetscaping, as described in the Terms of Reference, attached hereto, as Annex A. The project scope can be separated into the following two components: Cave Creek Collector Realignment Works This aspect of the project involves relocation of the Cave Creek Sanitary Sewer Collector (CCC) that runs parallel to Albert Street between City Centre Avenue (West) and the former Broad Street (East). The work also includes construction of a Dry Weather Flow (DWF) connection to the West Nepean Collector just east of City Centre Avenue. Streetscaping Works This component of the project involves implementing protected intersections at City Centre Avenue, Preston Street and Booth Street. The project scope also includes road resurfacing of Albert Street from City Centre Avenue to Perkins Street and implementation of separate uni-directional cycling and pedestrian facilities along both sides of Albert Street. Segments of the existing MUP north of Albert Street will require temporary reinstatement following completion of the underground works. Landscaping and streetscaping will include implementation of trees, street furniture and bus shelters along the corridor. Accept or reject any or all submissions made in response to this RFQ.
