The Town of Hawkesbury (the Town) is seeking a Contractor to reline the existing 150 mm diameter watermains using trenchless technology (thermally or chemically cured in place pipe) on Kipling Street and Allan Street. Description of Works 1. Contractor to reline the existing 150 mm diameter watermains using trenchless technology (thermally or chemically cured in place pipe) on Kipling Street and Allan Street, see drawing C-101 and C-102 for details. 2. Contractor to set up temporary water supply to each residence via connection to exterior hose bibs. Town to supervise water quality testing prior to implementing temporary water supply. 3. Contractor to confirm locates of buried services for excavation of access pits. 4. Contractor to apply/submit for a Road Cut permit. 5. Contractor to prepare and distribute bilingual Notice (once approved by the Town) to residents advising of upcoming work. 6. Contractor to be responsible for all excavation of access pits, their backfilling and restoration. Contractor to manage excess soil as specified. 7. Contractor to complete CCTV of watermain before and after liner installation. Liquidated damages are $1,000 per each calendar day if the work is not completed before August 2nd 2024 which is the date of Substantial Performance.
