The County of San Diego (County) Public Safety Group - Sheriff's Division is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to replace one (1) wall-mounted air conditioning (A/C) unit with low ambient control, one (1) ICM492 control, and one (1) RSH50 surge protective device located at the radio communication site known as Volcan South. 1.2. Contractor shall supply and install one (1) Bard 3-ton model W36AB-A0ZXP4XXJ "or equal" with one (1) RSH50 surge protective device "or equal". 1.3. Offerors requesting use of equivalent products shall submit "or equal" specifications to the County along with quoted pricing. Where a brand name has been specified, if Offeror believes an "or equal" is equivalent to the brand name shown, Offeror shall provide documentation of the "or equal" and specify brand name, model number, dimensions and/or capacities. Submitted equivalencies will be evaluated based on their comparison to the specified brand name and model/part number indicated regarding the following: function, performance, quality, and warranty.
