The purpose of this Project is to clean approximately ten (10) miles of sanitary sewer mains on a quarterly basis (starting around the first of March, June, September, and December), for an annual total of 40 miles. Assigned sewer main pipes to be cleaned will be predominantly 6- to 8-inches in diameter, although some may be 10- to 15-inches in diameter, and consist of vitrified clay, PVC, HDPE, and lined materials. Assigned sewer main pipes are mostly in the public right-of-way, however, some pipes are located within easements and Caltrans right-of-way. Question Deadline 11/03/2025 at 12:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes License Requirements A or C-36 or C-42 Liquidated Damages $750/Calender Day In accordance with Civil Code 9550, if the bid exceeds $25,000, the Successful Bidder shall furnish within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after written Notice of Award, a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid as well as a separate Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid total. The initial contract will be for a one (1) year period from the date of the award. This contract can be renewed by mutual consent for 4 additional one-year terms. The maximum term shall not exceed 5 years from the date of award.
