DASNY is soliciting bids for OASAS Kingsboro Addiction Treatment Center - Elevator Replacement project. This will be a single prime general construction contract. The scope work includes, but is not limited to the following: Remove and replace existing elevator cab and elevator components. Remove and replace existing elevator equipment in elevator machine room (EMR). Remove existing EMR walls and construct new EMR on cellar floor. Construct pit for sump pump installation in existing elevator pit. Install discharge drainage piping and control panel for new sump pump. Remove existing ductwork impacted by elevator work and install new ductwork and air-cooled condensing unit for EMR. Install new sprinkler piping and sidewall sprinklers in the elevator pit and connect to existing fire alarm system. DASNY will not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions. All individuals who plan to attend pre-bid meetings or bid openings in person will be required to present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening. Individuals and entities submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. Construction base bid estimated at $1,200,000 - $1,300,000. Construction duration expected to be 18 months. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Prospective bidders shall examine the Contract Documents carefully and, before bidding, shall make a written request to the Owner and Design Professional, for an interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error therein which should be discovered by a reasonably prudent bidder.
