The scope is generally summarized as follows: 1) Demolition of the existing NYPD Transit Facility. 2) Reconstruction of the NYPD Transit Facility, including replacement of all architectural, mechanical, structural, utility, communications, and electrical components. 3) Construction of a ventilation structure (a new surface walkway grate) in Union Square Park for the NYPD Transit Facility. 4) Installation of new water service for the NYPD Transit Facility connection. This is an A + B bidding contract.
