James, and Hawthorne Park Elementary Schools Subcontractors: Trade Category # Title C008 or C009 General Construction or General Construction Additions and Alterations the Project Consists of New Gymnasium Additions to the Existing Elementary Schools and Selective Demolition to Create a Physical Connection. The New Programmatic Spaces Include a New Gymnasium, Office, Storage Room, and Connecting Corridor Per Location. Further Renovation of Existing Media Centers Includes New Flooring, Media Centers Fixtures and Furnishings, Lighting, Window Book Shelfs and Workstations. The Project Also Includes Related Site Upgrades. Title: Contract #29.02 - Gym Additions & Media Center Renovations at Twin Hills, W.r. James, and Hawthorne Park Elementary Schools Notice of Award/notice to Proceed, on or About: Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 Final Day for Questions to the Architect: Thursday, April 9th, 2026, at 5:00 P.pm Date of Issuance of Addendum (if Necessary): Monday, April 13th, 2026, by 5:00 P.m. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check Made Payable to the Willingboro Board of Education, for Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount of the Total Bid, However, Not to Exceed $20,000. Bidders Are Required by Law (Chapter 33, Laws of 1977) to Submit a Statement of Ownership Disclosure Form Setting Forth the Names and Addresses of All Persons and Entities That Own Ten (10%) Percent or More of Its Stock or Interest of Any Type at All Levels of Ownership. the Bid Package Will Also Include Other Documents That Must Be Completed and Returned With the Bid. Failure to Comply With Instructions to Bidders and to Complete and Submit All Required Forms, May Be Cause for Disqualification and Rejection of the Bid. All Contractors Named in This Proposal, Shall Possess a Valid Contractor's Registration Certificate Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.48 Et Seq., at the Time the Proposal is Received by the Board of Education. Therefore, Any Bidder and/or Contractor and/or Subcontractor Discovered to Have Published or Disseminated This Information in the Public Domain, Unless Pursuant to the Exceptions Stated Above, Shall Be Subject to Significant Penalty and May Not Be Permitted to Bid on the Instant Project. as a Condition Precedent to Receipt of the Bid Documents, All Bidders Must Agree to Dispose of, Destroy and/or Return the Information Forwarded to It Within Three (3) Days of the Bid Submission Date Notice of Award/notice to Proceed, on or About: Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 Site Mobilization: Upon Execution of Contracts, Bonds, and Insurance Substantial Completion - Gyms Friday, August 27th, 2027 Substantial Completion - Media Centers Friday, August 28th, 2026 SUMMARY OF WORK The project consists of a new gymansium additions to the existing school and selective demoliton of the connecting spaces. The new progammatic spaces include a new gymnasium, office, storage room, and conectiong corridor. Further Renovation of existing media centers providing new flooring, media centers fixtures and furnishings, lighting, window book shelfs and workstations. The project also includes related site upgrades.The contractor for the additional shall patch/repair any elements in the existing school damaged during the construction process. C. Contractor's Duties: 1. Except as specifically noted, provide and pay for: a. Labor, materials, and equipment; b. Tools, construction equipment, and machinery; c. City water, heat, utilities, etc. required for construction; d. Other facilities and services necessary for proper execution and completion of work. 2. Secure and pay for, as necessary, proper execution and completion of work, and as applicable, at time of receipt of bids: a. Government Fees; b. Licenses; c. Inspections of all work. 3. Give required notices to all governmental agencies and utilities; 4. Comply with codes, ordinances, regulations, rules, orders and other legal requirements of public authorities which bear on performance of work. 5. Promptly submit written notice to Engineer of observed variance of Contract Documents from legal requirements: a. Appropriate modification to Contract Documents will adjust necessary changes; b. Assume responsibility for work known to be contrary to such requirements when above notice has not been given. 6. Owner is exempt from sales tax: a. Obtain sales tax exemption certificate from Owner; b. Put exemption certificate number on invoices for material incorporated in work; c. Upon completion of work, file with Owner notarized statement that all purchase made under exeption certificate were entitled to be exempt; d. Pay legally assessed penalties for improper use of exemption certificate All questions, comments, and inquiries shall be submitted to LAN (Attention: Mr. Chad Conley at chad.conley@lanassociates.com, and Ms. Savita Nayak at Savita.Nayak@lanassociates.com, with copy to Ms. Chloe Letteri at chloe.letteri@lanassociates.com) in writing and will be responded through Addenda sent to all bidders via email. James, And Hawthorne Park Elementary Schools Name and Address of the Bidder Date: April 23 rd , 2026 Time: 3:00 p.m. Please note that the bid opening process will begin on the above advertised date at 3:00 p.m. All attendees shall report to the main entrance of the building and will be escorted to a meeting space by the Owner. Bids may also be submitted to Mr. Jason Jones, Business Administrator, or his designee, at the bid opening meeting, prior to the advertised date and time. On the advertised date and time, the School Business Administrator shall publicly receive and open all bids and announce the names of the vendors and their prices. Bids may be viewed by interested parties on the advertised bid date and time.
