The Housing Authority of the City of Nevada, Missouri will receive bids for Capital Funds Program for new HVAC units at Chapman Estates, Nevada, Missouri. The contractor is required to provide and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds equivalent to 100 percent of the contract price, or as required or permitted by State law, or separate Performance and Payment bonds each for 50 percent or more of the contract price. Bidders must reference Section 10. Assurance of Completion in the Instructions to Bidders and Section 36. Insurance of the General Conditions for Construction Contracts - Public Housing Programs for insurance requirements. Provisions for equal employment opportunity must be observed, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the bid package is required. This project is tax exempt, and a certificate will be provided to the General Contractor upon award of contract. Liquidated damages will be $100.00 per day.
