Moss Bluff Parks and Recreation Open Air Pavilion Renovation. Project Location: 1180 Don Manuel Boulevard, Lake Charles, LA. The work includes general construction, finishes, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. Extra payment will not be authorized for relocation, removal, and/or temporary removal and reinstallation of any existing or newly installed construction (ducts, conduit, piping, wiring, fixtures, equipment, finishes, etc.) necessary to properly complete the Work, which could have been anticipated by careful examination of the project site, areas of work and the Contract Documents, including visual examination inside access panels, above suspended ceilings, inside millwork cabinets, etc. Such work shall be performed, without additional cost to the Owner. Sealed bids are requested for the Moss Bluff Parks and Recreation Open Air Pavilion Renovation. Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, are available from the Project Architect. Only licensed Building Contractors may submit bids. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form specified in the bid documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount by an approved surety or insurance company. All bids must be plainly marked with the project name and number on the outside of the envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Preference will be given to materials, supplies, and provisions that are produced, manufactured, or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside the State. Completion- 150 calendar days Question Deadline 11/12/2025 Bidders, requiring clarification or interpretation of Bidding Documents, shall make a written request to the Architect to reach him at least seven (7) days prior to the date of receipt of bids.
