Renovation of a multi-residential development in Canton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The attention of Bidders submitting proposals for the above subject project is called to the following addendum to the specifications and drawings. The items set forth herein, whether of omission, addition, substitution, or clarifications are all to be included in and form a part of the proposal submitted. The Number of This Addendum (1) Must Be Entered in the Appropriate Space "b" Provided After the Word "numbers" of the Contract Form Entitled "form for General Bid," and in Space "b" of the "form for Sub-bid. 09 90 00.FSB - Painting. All other of the portions of the Contract Documents remain unchanged. Please be reminded to acknowledge this Addendum on the bid forms. Bid Deposit 5% - Subcontractor GENERAL PROVISIONS A. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to: Selective Demolition; Repair to existing steel columns; Replacement and repair of wood decking framing; Replacement of steel stair guard panels;Steel Field Welding Connections field coating of all steel work. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. C. The Contractor's attention is directed to Article 3.3 of the General Conditions. D. Permits: See Article 3.16.1 of the General Conditions. E. Utility Back Charges: If applicable, see Article 3.16.5 of the General Conditions. F. Police Details: If applicable, see Article 3.16.6 of the General Conditions. G. The site/building and adjacent site/buildings will be occupied during construction unless otherwise noted in the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to ensure the public safety and convenience of the occupants during construction. Whenever work is to be done inside occupied units, the Contractor's superintendent and an Awarding Authority's representative shall conduct a pre-work inspection of each unit to make note of existing conditions in the unit. Special attention should be paid to areas where new work The Project consists of but not limited to: Selective Demolition; Repair to existing steel columns; Replacement and repair of wood decking framing; Replacement of steel stair guard panels;Steel Field Welding Connections field coating of all steel work. Estimated Construction Cost: $208,652.00
