The scope of work includes installing, removing, relocating, and abandoning small water meters and associated service laterals for meters ranging from 3/4 inch to 2 inches. It also includes limited surface restoration such as pavement, concrete, and sod, traffic control, and emergency on-call support. Vendors are expected to deliver high-quality, responsive, and cost-effective services that align with operational standards and support the City's infrastructure goals. Pre-qualification requirements: The City will undergo a prequalification process to develop a shortlist toward the procurement of Small Meters Installation services. Further details will be provided at a Pre-Solicitation Conference. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks, including but not limited to: 1. Installation of meter boxes for 3/4 -inch to 2-inch meters 2. Installation, removal, and salvage of 3/4 -inch to 2-inch water meters 3. Installation of taps, service laterals, valves, and fittings 4. Abandonment and salvage of existing meters and service laterals 5. Relocation of existing meters as directed by DWM 6. Provision of traffic control and/or certified police officers when authorized 7. Minor pavement and sidewalk removal and replacement 8. Site restoration, including: o Asphalt patching (e.g., 3'x3', 4'x3') o Concrete sidewalk and/or curb & gutter replacement o Topsoil, sod, or seed replacement 9. Disposal of all surplus, unsuitable, or waste materials 10. Cleanup and restoration of work areas to pre-construction condition
