The Project includes the following Work: Demolition of an abandoned buried chlorine contact tank and construction of a Tertiary Treatment Facility in the resulting open site at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 13750 SE Renton Ave, Milwaukie, OR, 97222. A. The overall project will generally consist of: 1. Design and installation of shoring and bracing to accommodate excavation of the Site and continued operation of the adjacent UV Disinfection Facility. 2. Demolition and removal of a partially demolished buried chlorine contact tank underlying the proposed Tertiary Treatment Facility. 3. Excavation to undisturbed soils, backfill, and installation of subgrade piping for connection to the proposed tertiary filters. 4. Construction of the Tertiary Treatment Facility, including piping, valves, packaged disk filter equipment, subgrade vaults, electrical panels, conduit, wiring, concrete, masonry, roofing, doors, windows, HVAC, and associated site features. 5. Site electrical, process, and utility connections. 6. Temporary bypass pumping. 7. Replacement of existing valves and electric actuators at the existing UV Disinfection Facility. 8. Connection to existing WWTP processes. 9. Startup and commissioning of the new filters. 10. Backfill, grading, paving, curb, and sidewalk. The Project has an expected duration of 520 days Owner anticipates that the Project total bid price will be $13,000,000 - $13,500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
