Sealed bids are requested for a four-year maintenance contract for the Scottdale Borough "Jacobs Creek flood Control Project." An hourly rate is also requested for periodic tree removal and stump treatment over a four-year period beginning December 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2029. All envelopes containing Bid Proposals must be clearly marked "Bid Proposals for Channel Maintenance of the Jacobs Creek Flood Control Project." Bid proposals must include a Bid Bond or certified check payable to the Borough of Scottdale in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid for the contract. The successful bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds at 100% of the final contract amount. Specifications and bid proposal forms are available from the Borough Manager. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any bid formalities. Attention is called to the requirement for ensuring that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, sex, color, national origin, or religion.
