Renovation of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Remove and replace Air Handling Unit 8 (AHU-8) at Moores Cancer Center located in La Jolla, CA. Estimated project duration is 365 calendar days. Project Description: Existing Air Handling Units(AHU) 6,7,8 and 9 are located on the main roof of Moore's Cancer Center and serve into a common plenum which feeds the building lab spaces below. AHU 8 is to be removed and replaced as part of this project. The chilled water piping connections to this unit are also to be replaced up to and including the existing isolation valves. Controls for the new AHU8 are to be integrated back into the existing building management control system. The Scope of the Construction Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Demolition. 2. Infrastructure. 3. General Construction. 4. Fire Protection System. 5. Mechanical System. 6. Plumbing System. 7. Electrical System. 8. Telecommunication and Data System Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid.
