Jefferson County Public Schools will receive sealed bids and award contracts for Boiler & Chiller Replacement at Barret Traditional Middle School, Louisville, KY. JCPS Board of Education has established goals and good faith effort of 15% participation for Minority Business Enterprises, and 10% for Women Business Enterprises in all construction contracting. JCPS reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. This project consists of a central plant replacement at Barret Traditional Middle School in the Jefferson County Public School District. The existing gas-fired hot water boilers and chillers will be replaced along with all existing chilled water, hot water, and building pumps. The existing piping will be reworked to support these replacements, and the chiller enclosure will be expanded to accommodate the new equipment. The electrical scope is also limited to supporting these replacements. The existing chillers shall be delivered and turned over to JCPS and all new equipment shall be furnished and installed by the contractor.
