Site work and new construction of an industrial development in Little Rock, Arkansas. Design plans call for the construction of a 60,000-square-foot, one-story above grade industrial development.
As of March 5, 2026, per owner, construction manager identified. General Contractor has not been selected; project is still in design. The scope of work involves providing professional Construction Management services regarding construction of a rail-to-truck transload facility, including two 30,000 square foot warehouses and necessary site improvements. The project includes NEPA studies and clearance, engineering design services, construction of 5,300 feet of track and 5 turnouts, installation of a fall arrest system, rail scales, construction of an access road, and application of a Class 7 aggregate base course for the yard. Services required include pre-construction and construction activities such as design review, scheduling, cost control and value engineering, constructability evaluation, advice regarding dividing the project into more than one contract, preparation and coordination of bid phase documents, and construction administration and supervision. Firms must demonstrate qualifications including education, experience, credentials, and present a proposed project action plan. Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local policies and procedures is required, as the project is funded in part by the Federal Railroad Administration. Statements of Qualifications must be received by the specified deadline.
