The District of Port Hardy invites qualified contractors and energy professionals to submit quotations for the design, supply, and installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems with battery backup capacity for three municipal buildings. The systems must provide sufficient battery storage to maintain essential building operations for a minimum of three (3) days during power outages. Sites included in this RFQ: 1. Port Hardy Municipal Hall – Office building serving approximately 10 staff. 2. Port Hardy Fire Hall – Emergency services building with offices for 3 staff. 3. Port Hardy Public Works Office – Operations facility supporting approximately 5 office staff, requiring backup for lighting and essential equipment.
