A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Project No: 2022-05385 The general category and type of work includes, but is not limited to: street improvements such as reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing hardscape improvements; construction of new curb, gutter, sidewalk, reinforced retaining wall, and other various work items; asphalt grinding and pavement overlay with fiber-reinforced asphalt rubber hot mix (FR-ARHM) as outlined on the Contract Plans; and storm drain and street lighting improvements. More specific work items within the general scope include: mobilization/demobilization; traffic control; community outreach; clearing and grubbing; contaminated soil removal; pavement removal; subgrade and asphalt pavement repairs; cold-milling existing asphalt; asphalt overlay construction; rehabilitation and construction of PCC curb, gutter, sidewalk, local depressions, and pedestrian ramp to meet current disabled access standards; construction of a new landscape median and reinforced retaining wall with architectural finish; construction of catch basins and curb drains; storm drain improvements; adjustments of existing utility appurtenances to new grade; street lighting and electrical; landscaping and irrigation; signing and striping; implementation of Best Management Practices (BMP) for storm water pollution prevention during construction activities; and other general improvements as outlined in the Contract Plans and Specifications for the project. Every bidder is required to purchase a hard copy set of the Contract Plans and Specifications (Contract Documents) from the City of Dana Point. Upon purchase, the bidder will be added to the City's official plan holder's list. Bidders who have not purchased a hard copy set and are not on the official plan holder's list will be deemed non-responsive, may not bid on the project, and the bid will be returned unopened. Copies are available at the City of Dana Point Public Works Department, upon payment of a nonrefundable fee and must be picked up from the City.
