The work to be done by the Contractor under and in accordance with the specifications and the applicable drawings generally includes: furnishing all materials, tools, equipment, labor, plant, and performing all operations necessary for the construction of the designed water improvement facilities. The project site is located in the Hikiwan District of the Tohono O'odham Nation, along IRR 34 between the Communities of South Hikiwan and Charco 27. Approximately 11.42 miles of 6" HDPE water main and appurtenance shall be installed. This project is subject to the Provisions of the Tohono O'odham Employment Rights Ordinances (TERO). Prospective bidders must contact the T.E.R.O. offices at 520-383-3304 for information regarding Tribal Labor Laws. This project is Federally Funded, therefore Davis-Bacon Wage Rates will be the Prevailing Wage Scale, and will supersede the TERO Wage Scale. The successful contractor will be responsible for the payment of all Tribal Transaction Privilege taxes as specified by the Regulations and Ordinances of the Tohono O'odham Nation.
