Initiating Organization: Engineering District 8-0 Agreement Type: Project Specific 100% State Funded: No Services Requested: Construction Inspection The Department of Transportation will retain an engineering firm for (1) open-end agreement to provide supplementary construction inspection staff under the Department's Inspector(s)-in-Charge to perform construction inspection services on various projects. The projects are administered by Engineering District 8-0 and are located in Engineering District 8-0. The Agreement may include roadway and bridge construction projects, and material plant inspection. The Agreement will be for a period of 3 years, with a maximum cost of 1,500,000. The Department of Transportation will retain a qualified engineering firm for a project specific open-end agreement to provide construction inspection staffing for multiple federally aided municipal projects managed by a local public agency. Inspection staff will be under the direction of the local project manager. All projects will be located within the geographical boundaries of Engineering District 8-0. This agreement may include roadways, sidewalks, trails, local enhancements, bridges, and any other work required for a municipal-led project. A let schedule of potential qualifying projects is attached to this advertisement. No additional projects will be added. The individual work orders will be created as a project becomes eligible for inclusion into this agreement. Additional staffing beyond the 4 TCIS and 4 TCI shown may be required to fulfill the needs of the individual projects on this agreement. The goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in this agreement shall be 0 of the total agreement cost. Cost included in a DBE firm's price proposal as direct cost of work and services by others shall not count as DBE participation in this agreement, unless completed by a DBE firm. Additional information concerning DBE participation in this agreement is contained in the General Requirements and Information Section referenced below. The anticipated date of selection for this agreement is 01/14/2026, with a NTP on the first work order anticipated for 03/30/2026.
