The City of Lawrence ("City") invites qualified contractors to submit bids for an interior remodel project at the Lawrence Community Shelter. The work shall be completed in accordance with the attached plans and specifications. Question Submission Deadline: November 6, 2025, 12:00pm Bid Analysis and award shall be made to bidder(s) whose bid(s) are deemed Overall Best Value and meets or exceeds the specifications. The award will be contingent upon an executed contract with Lawrence Community Shelter. Proposals shall include all costs associated with materials, labor, proper waste disposal, daily site clean-up, project management, and any required permit fees, etc. as defined within the attachment labeled 'Plans and Specifications'. Alternate 1: Construction of a 2,629 square foot mezzanine storage area, including a one-hour fire separation between the R-1 and S-1 occupancies All or part of the services contract will be funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG).
