The Telfair County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed proposals from qualified, licensed general contractors for the Telfair County Law Enforcement Emergency Services (L.E.E.S.) Building. This project includes specifications for construction of a 60-foot long by 30-foot wide addition. Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and construction equipment necessary to complete the project. 2. Construct a 60 foot long by 30 foot wide addition with the following characteristics. a. Traditional wood framed building with wood stud walls b. 10' eave height c. 4/12 gable pitched roof. 26 gauge R-Panel Galvalume Roof. d. Traditional engineered wood trusses e. 2x6 wood studs for exterior walls f. OSB sheathing and decking for walls and roofs g. 2x12 pine floor joists supported with masonry piers (location of floor joist to be determined based off anticipated loads and span charts) h. Advantech decked flooring i. Exterior 26 gauge R-Panel metal colored wall sheets (color to match existing building) j. (2) 3070 exterior metal man doors k. (10) 3070 interior hollow core man doors l. (8) 4040 exterior windows m. Spray foam insulation in walls and ceilings n. Tie into existing building, but remove existing roll up door. Reframe existing building to allow framing for new 3070 door. o. Gutters and downspouts p. Soffit at overhang q. Masonry block perimeter underpinning r. 5'x5' Wood framed front porch including landing with steps and awning. 3. Interior Rooms a. 2x4" wood stud walls b. 5/8" sheetrock walls c. Sheetrock ceilings d. 3 coats of paint on sheetrock walls. (1 primer and 2 coats of finish) e. Room layout to follow attached set of plans f. 200 amp electrical panel and new meter; appropriate electrical outlets in accordance to building codes; appropriate light fixtures as necessary g. Plumbing as identified on set of plans; plumbing to be stubbed out 5 feet past edge of building foundation 3 toilets, 3 vanities, and two 2 standing insert showers h. HVAC system and appropriate duct work installed i. Allowances of 4$/ SF for flooring material (carpet tiles or LVT) The Telfair County Board of Commissioners will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications.
