Rehabilitation of the WWTP, including the replacement of the sludge pump and improvements to the electrical and irrigation system. BID BOND: 5% PERFORMANCE/PAYMENT BONDS: 100% The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. The lobbying certification must be submitted with the bid packet to be considered complete and responsive. The City of Benjamin is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Question Deadline 11/27/2025 No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Each interpretation made will be in the form of an Addendum to the contract documents and will be distributed to all parties holding contract documents no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Construct work as described in the Contract Documents. 1. Provide materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make the project completely operable. 2. Provide the labor, equipment, tools, and consumable supplies required for a complete project. 3. Provide the civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and all other work required for a complete and operable project. 4. Test and place the completed project in operation. 5. Provide the special tools, spare parts, lubricants, supplies, or other materials as required for the operation and maintenance of the Project. 6. Drawings and Specifications may not indicate or describe all of the work required to complete the project. Additional details required for the completion of the project are to be provide by the CONTRACTOR and coordinated with the ENGINEER
