The project will restore three creek sections that ow aboveground through Oak Glen Park and a downstream portion of city owned land. The creek runs parallel to Richmond Boulevard between MacArthur Boulevard and Frisbee St and then continues downstream to 29th. The restoration project will stabilize and repair steep and eroding creek banks to protect property and public roadways, reduce flood risk, and improve water quality. The project will also restore native riparian vegetation to create habitat and incorporate park enhancements designed to connect the community to the creek in a visually appealing way to improve recreation and education opportunities and reduce illegal dumping . The project is included in the City's 2025-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of October 29, 2025, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
