Sealed bids will be received for Security Enhancements and Facility Improvements at Jetson Center for Youth, Office of Juvenile Justice, Baker, Louisiana. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall only be accepted from Contractors licensed for Building Construction under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 and must comply with the requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). Bids cannot be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt, except under LA. R.S. 38:2214. The Owner has the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Award of the contract is contingent upon funding availability and the contract is binding only upon full execution. Bidders are encouraged to participate in the Small Entrepreneurship (SE) Program (Hudson Initiative) and the Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned (LaVet) Small Entrepreneurships Program.
