Reference Number 0000402978 The Apex Park and Recreation District is issuing this Solicitation for the purpose of: Removing and replacing the pool's heating / boiler unit to the exterior pool at it's Secrest Rec. Center facility located at 6820 W. 64th. Ave Arvada, CO. 80003. o New boiler must fit on existing location. Current stand is 72" long x 36" wide x 51 1/2 " Tall. Contractor to verify dimensions in filed. o Remove & Dispose of existing boiler from site. New boiler installation includes: o Remove & replace existing electrical EPO switches and Defender Controls to boiler. Verify operational. o Remove flue and replace with new up to vertical roof penetration pipe. Inspect roof penetration pipe and replace with new if necessary. o Remove existing gas & water piping as far back as needed. Replace with new to match existing and verify connections don't leak. o Boiler Controls must be self-contained and not connected to BAS. o Increase boiler BTUH to maintain 86 Degrees outdoor summer pool temp. o New boiler must have bypass to maintain inlet temp as specified by manufacturer. o Perform combustion analysis on new boiler. o Perform factory start up on new boiler and provide documentation. o All work must meet code requirements. o CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL NECESSARY PERMITS. o Pipe valve relief to 2" above finished floor. o Provide owner training. o 2 yr parts & labor warranty. o Remove and replace makeup air to new boiler. o Remove all construction debris and any damage to existing room or equipment must be replaced with like or better.
