Engineering and construction of four (4) 1,500 sq ft TK-PK modular classroom buildings at 7998 Alicante Ave., Lamont, CA 93241. Bidders must possess a valid and active 'B' contractor's license. No alternates are requested. This is a prevailing wage project, and a Payment Bond (for contracts over $25,000) and a Performance Bond (for all contracts) are required prior to commencement of work. Contractors and all subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and must provide electronic certified payroll records. Submission of a bid is a representation that the contractor has reviewed and will comply with all applicable sections of the California Labor Code. Bids must be submitted sealed and marked as directed. Plans and Specifications are available at the Colombo Construction Plan Room and through designated channels. No prequalification is required for this project. If any bidder is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from the drawings and specifications, a written request for an interpretation or correction shall be submitted to the Owner. The bidder submitting the written request shall be responsible for its prompt delivery.
