Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
CONTRACTOR shall review all documents, specifications, plans and scopplans, work provided by the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Construction & Maintenance Division Project Manager for work to be completed at Brothers to the Rescue Memorial Park Baseball Lighting Replacement. CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials required to provide the installation of 12 new sports lighting poles and fixtures. Install 12 new high mast sport lighting poles and fixtures as noted in the approved Dry-Run plans. New light poles will be 80' in height (above ground). Replace the existing wiring and connectors to each of the new light poles as noted in the approved Dry-Run plans. Responsible for all electrical connections, conduits, and conductors from the existing service to each of the new poles, including replacing pull boxes, disconnects, timers, and any other accessory equipment related to the operation and function of the new poles and fixtures. Responsible for attaining all pertinent permits (Miami Dade Building, Electrical, Plumbing, Public Works, Water and Sewer, Derm, Fire, FDEP Florida Department of Health, and any other agency that may have jurisdiction) needed to begin and complete all phases of work within the plans. Contractor shall include any equipment, devices, services, fees, etc. for removal/replacement of the existing electrical lines, to bring the system operational and in compliance with all authorities having jurisdiction. Install new standalone electrical rack with a new enclosure. Replace existing aerial lines from the FPL transformer to the existing service. New line from the FPL transformer should be buried (underground) to prevent future damage from adjacent foliage. Layout and locate any underground infrastructure prior to any excavation or trenching. Install new conduit using the Horizontal Directional Drilling method (preferred) or trenching, following all guidelines and regulations set forth by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Bidder or vendor key personal experience shall have completed at least two projects of similar size and scope. Bidder shall provide evidence of this experience, project names, dollar values, and contract information for verification purposes.
