The work consists of providing construction services for the hardening of the City of Graceville's potable water wells, funded with Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds. The improvements/construction cover Wells 3, 6, and 7 along with their associated facilities, including furnishing and installing a new diesel standby generator at Well 3, replacing the existing diesel-fired standby generator with a new one, installing new control panels with RTU at all three wells, and all necessary appurtenances according to the plans and specifications. Plans and specifications are available in electronic PDF format at no cost by emailing the project engineer. Hard copies may be purchased for $45.00 per set. Sealed bids must indicate on the envelope that it is for "Graceville DR / Graceville Water Wells 3, 6 and 7 Improvements" and must be submitted by the specified bid deadline. The bid will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive and responsible bidder, with all bids required to remain firm for sixty days post-opening. All applicable Federal, State, and local contractor licensing and business regulations must be adhered to, and the project must satisfy all relevant federal requirements including Davis-Bacon, Anti-Kickback, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Section 3, and 2 CFR 200.
