Renovation of a medical facility in Mason City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.
Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics intends to retain the services of a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for an interior renovation project at the Westbrook Building in Mason City. They are initially requesting Qualification Statements from qualified firms to determine which firms will be offered the opportunity to submit their proposed fees for the project. Selection will be based on the following criteria: Firm Profile and Background, Applicable Project Experience, Qualifications, and References, Familiarity with the facility, Project Team & Company Structure, Proposed Management Process, and Proposed Fees (to be provided in RFP issued to qualified firms). A more detailed RFQ and subsequent RFP will outline the deliverables and selection criteria in more detail. Qualification statements are limited to ten pages maximum, not including cover letter and table of contents. The project is to renovate approximately 9,400 s.f. of the 12,650 s.f. main level of the Westbrook Building in Mason City. The renovation includes flooring, painting, minor electrical work, minor plumbing work, removing exterior doors and replacing them with windows and new matching finishes, and other miscellaneous work.
