Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Suwanee, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work includes replacement of the six existing pumps with six new dry-pit submersible type pumps; demolition of the existing chemical feed tank, system, and pumps and installation of a new chemical feed tank, system, and pumps; demolition of the existing seal water system; rehabilitation of the existing diversion structure; new electrical equipment including variable frequency drives, control panels, switchboard, and motor control centers associated with the proposed installation; installation of an Owner-furnished programmable logic controller (PLC); demolition and expansion into the footprint of the existing chemical room to house additional electrical equipment, with miscellaneous structural, architectural, and other modifications to accommodate improvements; new flow monitoring in a gravity sewer structure downstream of the existing diversion structure; new emergency back-up generator to replace the existing generator; HVAC and ventilation improvements; instrumentation and control system updates; replacement and rehabilitation of existing process piping; structural improvements and replacement of the existing overhead coiling door; structural improvements for the existing bridge crane to function at rated capacity; replacement of existing slide gates, grating, and grinder units within the approach channels to the wet-well, including structural/process changes for better access and maintenance; replacement of existing hatches in multiple locations including addition of new rigid fall protection systems for these proposed hatches; fence and gate relocations and improvements; repaving of existing site with slope improvements for drainage; gutter system improvements; replacement of existing sump pumps in lower pump room; passive odor control improvements at the existing diversion box structure; and bypass pumping of the existing facility.
