The City of Hendersonville is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from professional architectural/engineering firms to provide master planning, programming, conceptual design, and future final design services for multiple facilities. The project includes: 1. Establishing a new Fleet Maintenance Facility at the City's existing 632 Sugarloaf Road warehouse. 2. Completing master planning, programming, and conceptual design efforts for existing water/sewer, public works, and stormwater operations properties on and near 305 Williams Street. This includes but is not limited to repurposing the existing Fleet Maintenance Facility for other Public Works and/or Water/Sewer uses. 3. Preparing conceptual and final design for the recently purchased 110 Williams Street facility. 4. Preparing conceptual design for relocated vegetative debris site (from existing 99 Balfour Road). It is the practice of the City to provide all firms an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its contracting and procurement programs. The City reserves the right to select and enter into an Agreement with firm that, in the City's opinion, is best qualified to serve the Project. The City will compensate the firm for services provided on a time and materials basis in accordance with an agreed upon rate schedule. The City accepts no responsibility for expenses incurred during the preparation or delivery of SOQs. The City reserves the right to: reject any and all statements of qualification, select the firm most qualified for the referenced work, waive technical errors and informalities, and to accept the statement of qualification, which, in its sole judgment, best serves the public interest. In the event of limited response, the City also reserves the right to extend the submittal deadline as appropriate in order to assure a competitive procurement process. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
