Jefferson Metropolitan Housing Authority (JMHA) is seeking proposals from qualified elevator service providers for the maintenance, inspection, and repair services of our elevators located at 1. 815 N 6 th Ave., Steubenville, Ohio 43952 (JFK Building). 2. 707 Market St., Steubenville, Ohio 43952 (Gaylord Tower) 3. 153 N 5 th St., Steubenville, Ohio 43952 (Washington Square Apartments) 4. 425 N 5 th St., Steubenville, Ohio 43952 (Michael Myers Terrace) 5. 314 Grandview Ave Tiltonsville, Ohio 43971 (Merkel Apartments) 6. 208 Market Street, Yorkville, OH 43971 (Schlernitzauer Apartments) The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals for a comprehensive elevator service contract to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all elevators in our building(s). The selected elevator service provider will be responsible for the following services: Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled monthly inspections and maintenance of all elevators. Lubrication and adjustment of elevator components. Check the operation of safety devices, signals, and controls. Perform load testing and emergency communication system checks. Repairs: Provide repairs to malfunctioning equipment, including emergency call-outs for elevator breakdowns. Respond to service calls within [4] hours of notification. Ensure all repairs meet current safety codes and regulations. Inspection and Compliance: Ensure all elevators comply with local, state, and national elevator codes and regulations. Provide annual inspection reports and certifications as required by law. Emergency Services: Provide 24/7 emergency response and repair services. Ensure quick recovery from breakdowns to minimize downtime. Parts and Replacement: Provide necessary parts, equipment, and materials for repairs. Guarantee the availability of parts for any repairs, including obsolete parts. Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair services performed. Provide monthly and annual reports detailing service activities, costs, and any outstanding issues.
