The City of Granite City is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to prepare and paint the interior of the City Hall Rotunda, Courtroom, and Court Office. The City intends to select a contractor that demonstrates experience, reliability, and the ability to complete high-quality work within a reasonable timeframe. The selected contractor will be responsible for: Preparing all surfaces to be painted, including cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming as needed. Providing and applying high-quality, durable interior paint suitable for public and government facility use. Painting walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and any other surfaces specified during the pre-bid walkthrough. Providing any scaffolding or other equipment necessary for project completion. Protecting floors, furnishings, fixtures, and adjacent areas from paint and debris. Cleaning the work area upon completion and disposing of all materials properly. Anticipated Award November 18, 2025 Project Start November 19, 2025 (or as soon as possible). Two Proposals are requested and must include: Company Information - Name, address, contact information, and years in business. Experience - Description of at least three similar projects completed within the past five years. Detailed Cost Proposal - Itemized labor and material costs, including any optional add alternates. 1. Provide a proposal for cost of painting the courtroom and Circuit Court office as well as the ground, 1st and 2nd floors of the building including the ceilings and rotunda. 2. Provide a proposal for cost of painting only the courtroom and circuit clerk office. Timeline - Estimated start and completion dates. Proof of Insurance - General liability and workers' compensation coverage. Proposals will be evaluated based on: Experience and qualifications of the contractor Quality of materials proposed Cost competitiveness Project timeline References and past performance.
