Remodeling of a municipal facility in Granite City, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Scope of work includes: Demolition: Remove wooden windows between waiting room and office. Install new replacement window. Frame in doorway and install new security window. Remove and replace fixtures in the Courtroom bathroom. Remove fixtures from bathroom in Courtroom Storage Room. Remove counter from Circuit Clerk Office. Finishes: Frame and drywall Circuit Clerk Office (cover all conduit). Install counter with cabinets in front of security window. Install drop ceiling to cover ductwork, including vented tiles for proper airflow. Reroute existing electrical to a power pole that supports computer data cables. Drywall bathroom in Courtroom. Drywall ceiling in Courtroom Storage Room. Repair door to Circuit Clerk Office. Clean and dispose of all construction debris. Miscellaneous requirements: Contractor must hold a valid Illinois State Contractor's License. Contractor must maintain appropriate insurance coverage. Questions will be accepted only via email and must be submitted by 12:00pm on November 14, 2025. Anticipated Award November 18, 2025 Project Start November 19, 2025 (or as soon as possible) The City's goal is to obtain competitive bids and select the most qualified Contractor(s) offering the lowest responsible bid. The City of Granite City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to evaluate proposals in the best interest of the City.
