Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,851-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the remodel of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

In accordance with Section 287.055 of the Florida Statutes, known as the Consultant's Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), the Board of County Commissioners of Martin County, Florida, is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced, and State of Florida or Martin County licensed General Contractors or Building Contractors. The selected contractor will provide professional construction services as authorized under Section 255.103, Florida Statute, and will be responsible for delivering Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) services for the Martin County Supervisor of Elections Building Expansion and Remodeling project. The project includes the construction of a 2,851-square-foot addition to the Supervisor of Elections building as well as the renovation and remodeling of the existing structure. Construction activities will occur both within and adjacent to the building, which serves as the offices and main election site for the Supervisor of Elections Department. The building will be occupied by the Supervisor of Elections during all phases of the construction, including during scheduled elections. Prohibited Communications. The Cone of Silence prohibits any communication regarding a RFB, RFP, RFQ or other competitive solicitation between any bidder (or its agents or representatives) or other entity with the potential for a financial interest in the award (or their respective agents or representatives) regarding such competitive solicitation, AND any County Commissioner or County employee, selection committee member or other persons authorized to act on behalf of the Board including the County's Architect, Engineer or their subconsultants, or to provide a recommendation to award a particular contract, other than Purchasing Division staff (pur_div@martin.fl.us). The Cone of Silence shall be in effect from the time of advertisement until contract award. Such communication shall result in disqualification.
