Site work for a water / sewer project in Rochester, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work for Contract No. 25-S1 includes the installation of a new manhole, removal of existing manhole, television inspection, installation of spot liner and approximately 100 linear feet of manhole-to-manhole in-place CIPP lining, service lateral reinstatement, bituminous and concrete roadway restoration, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Authority. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Rochester Borough Sewer and Maintenance Authority to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. Contractors shall demonstrate compliance with federal Executive Orders 11625, 12138, and 12432, through the detailed documentation of solicitation of Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. Delaware Avenue Sewer Improvements includes the installation of a new manhole, removal of existing manhole, television inspection, installation of spot liner and approximately 100 linear feet of manholeto-manhole in-place CIPP lining, service lateral reinstatement, bituminous and concrete roadway restoration, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Monroe Street. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, shoring, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all Construction in accordance with the Contract Documents. All questions regarding the figures, Drawings, and Specifications and the interpretation thereof and the resolving, conflicts, and inconsistencies therein shall be determined by the Engineer and such determination shall be final.
