Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Madison, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Sealed bids are invited in accordance with the construction contract documents as prepared by Wold Architects and Engineers for the Lac Qui Parle County New Highway Operations Center at 516 1st Street E, Madison, MN. The work will be accomplished under one contract with the county, with Contegrity Group Inc. serving as the owner's representative. The category of work to be bid is general construction. Bids must be submitted at the designated administrator office before the specified deadline; late, faxed, or electronic bids will not be accepted. Bidders must mark sealed bid envelopes with the bidder's name. Contract documents can be examined at specified locations and accessed online. Printed bid documents require a plan deposit and a non-refundable mailing fee. A pre-bid conference will be held for interested contractors. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of five percent of the base bid. Successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities or irregularities. Bids may not be withdrawn or modified within forty-five days after the deadline.
