The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications for "Heywood Avenue Improvements." Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Orange, and accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the Township of Orange for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, with a maximum of $20,000. All bid guarantees must be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten days after the Notice of Award or forfeit their bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. Bidders must comply with the requirements for Equal Employment Opportunities. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to the bidder or bidders who make the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as permitted by law. Question Deadline 11/28/2025 No oral interpretation and or clarification of the meaning of the specifications for any goods and services will be made to any bidder. Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the City's representative stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least three (3) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid for goods and services.
