Site work for a water / sewer project in Livonia, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Base Bid: The construction of a new 1,000 gpm water well (1,650 foot depth), piping, fittings, valves and associated appurtenances in the Town of Livonia, LA. Bidders must deliver sealed bids to the specified address by the deadline. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered and will be publicly opened and read aloud at the specified time and place. There is no pre-bid conference, but bidders are encouraged to visit the site before bidding. Prospective bidders are responsible for obtaining the most current bidding documents from the designated website. Bids will be accepted by mail or hand delivery only, not through the online portal. Bid documents may also be examined by contacting the listed engineer or at the engineer's office upon payment of a deposit, refundable according to regulation. Bidders must be licensed for Municipal and Public Works Construction and/or Water Well Drilling. The license number must be shown on the bid and envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Each bidder must include bid security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, using the specified form and conditions. Sureties for bonds must be acceptable per U. S. Department of Treasury criteria. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five days of opening.
