HVAC System Replacement - Schleswig Elementary School The scope of work includes the replacement of the HVAC system on two floors of the original elementary school building, associated electrical work, associated architectural work, and site work which includes associated MEP site work and staging area set-up, maintenance, and clean-up. Bids will be received for a general contract that covers demolition, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical construction work. Bidders must submit sealed bids on a form furnished by the Architect, along with a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Schleswig Community School District. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract sum. This project is tax-exempt, so state sales tax should not be included in bid totals. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, readvertise, and to waive informalities in the bidding process. Bidders are responsible for timely bid submission. Each bidder must visit the site prior to bidding to familiarize themselves with existing conditions. Only one set of printed bidding documents may be obtained by prime contractors and sub-contractors for a refundable deposit, provided they are returned in good condition within 14 days after bid opening.
