Work covered by these Technical Specifications is entitled "Construction of Paving Facilities in Beacon Point at Lago Mar Sec 4 for Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 57, City of Texas City, Texas." 2. Description of Work. a. Under this Contract, Contractor shall furnish all materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and all labor and superintendence necessary for the construction of the Work as described in these Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. The completed installation shall not lack any part that can be reasonably implied as necessary to its proper functioning or any subsidiary item that is customarily furnished, and Contractor shall deliver the installation to Owner in operating condition. b. The Work, in general, under this Contract includes the purchase, installation, and construction of all structures, equipment, and materials, including appurtenances, as indicated on the Plans. Major items of construction and services required are designated as follows: (1) Repair existing pavement affected; (2) Roadway cut and embankment; (3) Roadway stabilization; (4) Concrete pavement and curb installation; (5) Street striping and signage; (6) Furnish and install all subsidiary items as necessary to complete the project; (7) Perform testing as specified on installed pavement; (8) Clean-up project area upon completion. The Project Site. The project is in Lago Mar which is located in the City of Texas City, Texas and Galveston County. From the office of Quiddity Engineering, LLC, the site may be reached by taking US 59 N to IH-45 S and take Exit 17 (Holland Rd.). Continue on the Frontage Road and make a U-Turn past Lago Mar Blvd. Follow the Frontage Road until Beacon Point Boulevard and then turn northeast onto the entry road. Continue along Beacon Point Boulevard and turn right onto Nicolet Bend Drive, then turn right onto Center Hill Drive. Turn left onto Mead Grove drive and continue straight until you reach Crater Run Drive and the project site is at the end of the street.
