Proposed 4" ARV's Question Deadline 12/12/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Authority in writing. Replies shall be issued by Addenda to all parties recorded by the Authority as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids shall not be answered. A. Replacement of 7 Air Release Valve Assemblies. Including: 1. Air Release Valves 2. Vent Pipes 3. Bollards 4. Manhole Inflow Protectors 5. Coatings 6. Signage B. Access 1. ARV 1 & 2 are on GCWA Property - access through the Thomas S. Mackey Water Treatment Plant. 2. ARV 3 is in GCWA Easement on Airgas property. Contractor should notify Air Gas prior to beginning work. 3. ARV 4 & 6 are in public Rights of Way. Contractor should notify City of La Marque prior to beginning work. 4. ARV 5 is in GCWA Easement behind 247 Metal Fab shop. Contractor should notify 247 Metal Fab prior to beginning work. 5. ARV 19 is in GCWA Easement on Texas City Terminal Railway Company property. Contractor must complete the Port of Texas City Right of Entry Agreement. There is not improved access to this site. C. Shutdowns of existing facilities - 1. All isolation valves are expected to be in working order. Waterline shutdown is not required to complete the scope of work. This Pre-Bid Conference is Non-Mandatory.
