Renovation of an educational facility in Oakland, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The project consists of removing and replacing wood gym floor. Additional work includes bleacher modifications, floor transitions, and electrical. Bid should be clearly marked and sent or delivered to the Superintendent's office. Bid security is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid as a guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract for the work awarded to them. Bid security shall be made payable to Oakland CUSD #5. Bonds are required: Both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Payment Bond are required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. Prevailing wages in accordance with Coles County is required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
