Reference Number 0000305948 Question Acceptance Deadline Nov 19, 2025 02:00 PM EST Pricing Lump sum The project is initiated to replace 20 exhaust fans (excluding fans EF-1, EF-2, and EF-6 - being replaced as part of project GOC3690948) located throughout the building and approximately 40 transfer fans located in electrical rooms throughout the building. The exhaust fans are serving mechanical rooms, including fans 1 and 2 which are smoke exhaust fans for stairwells. The 20 exhaust fans are all connected to the BAS, consultant to confirm, and the transfer fans are not connected to the BAS currently (not required to be on BAS). As part of this project the consultant shall maintain the BAS connection of the exhaust fans including the smoke exhaust fans and optimize/improve the controls sequence where possible. For the transfer fans the consultant shall also improve/optimize their operation and sequence possibly by connecting them to stand alone tstats. Consultant to also examine heat recovery opportunities and ECM motors. Consultant shall carry out detailed site investigation of all the fans in the project and confirm their capacities (flow and static etc.) and ensure new fans are sized adequately for the areas they serve, as well as minimize fan noise. The consultant shall acquire the services of an air balancer to take flow readings of existing fans to verify their size and operational capacity.
