The work of this bid category includes but is not limited to providing all labor, equipment, materials, scaffolding, hoisting and incidentals to complete the work in accordance with the specifications, drawings and applicable codes. All work is to be performed as shown on the plans and specified herein. THE SCOPE OF WORK IS TO INCLUDE, but is not limited to, the following items: A. Move all furniture within the office spaces noted on drawing to allow the carpet to be installed. Provide tags and cartons in advance for employees to pack office items. B. Remove existing carpet/flooring and base as referenced in Attachment A - Drawings. Flooring and base must be disposed of offsite at contractor's expense. C. Inspection and final cleaning of floor slabs and wall surfaces as needed prior to installing flooring and base. D. Patching of minor imperfections in the floors as required prior to installing new flooring. E. Install flooring as indicated on the attached drawing. Vendor should NOT contact any department directly with questions. All questions received by the deadline date will be answered and posted to the WCC Budget & Purchasing website by 11/10/2025 at 2:00 p.m. EST. A. A Bid Bond is required in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, minimum, and shall be enclosed with the Bid Proposal, for all base bids categories in excess of $50,000.00. B. Performance Bond and Payment Bond requirements are described in the General and/or Supplementary Conditions and are one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid, minimum, for all bids in excess of $50,000.00. C. Insurance requirements are described in the General and Supplementary Conditions. Work to begin 12/16/25 - 12/23/25, and again from 1/2/26 - 1/9/26. The right to accept or reject any and all bids is reserved by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to require testimony or legal documents pertaining to the qualifications of a Contractor.
